Christos Koziaris is an IT Software Engineer, with postgraduate studies in Business Administration (Athens University of Economics & Business) and in Security and Risk Management (Leicester, UK). He is certified in Information Systems Risk Management (CRISC), Systems Privacy Design (CDPSE), IT Resource Management based on the COBIT framework, by ISACA, and as Data Protection Officer (DPO) by TUV Austria.
He has been working since 1987 in the field of IT in administrative positions, management of business/invoicing systems, and risk management. He has significant experience in e-business, application and hardware development and management, systems integration, project and budget management, process improvement and control mechanisms, etc. Finally, he has participated in regulatory framework compliance programs (SOX, ISOs, BCP, Information Security, Quality Management, GDPR, etc.) in private companies as well as public organizations in Greece and EU. He has also participated in Horizon 2020 projects and he has been a member of the Board of ISACA in Greece (2016-2021).
He works as a business consultant as well as a lecturer, focused on information security and relevant applications and areas such as compliance with GDPR 2016/679, HIPAA, etc.
